In the Footsteps of Street Art

“In the Footsteps of Street Art” interprets the street as the beginning, but also as the end of a forever incomplete process – the ever-changing urban environment that we consciously observe and particularly look at.
In 2022’s edition, Doza Gallery together with Sofia Graffiti Tour has invited Destructive Creation, City thru calligraphy, Hype all night, Yosh, Rays, Dragomir Kostadinov – PXRN, Wion and Cho in a common space that brings together seminal works, notable moments, key events and extraordinary artists.
The exhibition examines the creative response of the pioneering underground scene through a turbulent social and political history that has undoubtedly helped transform vandalism into a form of contemporary art. It also examines the drive for social change that underpins the work of many contemporary graffiti and street art artists.
The story of the first stroke of some of their most remarkable work starts at Doza Gallery on July 26th and runs through August 6th 2022.
